Unboxing the Samsung Viewfinity S9 - Is It The Apple Studio Display's WORST NIGHTMARE?

Okay I'm a video editor/gamer and I finally built a PC with an Intel CPU my last PC was threadripper so I am ready to game. Never really have time to game I'm always but I have trouble seeing my smaller monitor. I do like the Odyssey 55 inch offers. Anyone have any advice

I just bought the S9 and there is a black shadow around the rim of the monitor. Is that normal? I especially see it on white websites.

Hi, great insight! I am looking into this monitor to use as a secondary monitor, complementing the new Samsung 4K 32" 240Hz OLED monitor. I see you also have a 240Hz monitor as your main display. Does having the ViewFinity S9 at 60Hz disturb you in any way when working? Do you still recommend it? Cheers!

Seems like you have a lot of Samsung products. I use the s24 ultra and Samsung tablet 7 Plus. My issue is I couldn't use Photoshop and other Adobe software on my tablet so I bought a Windows two in one tablet. I need to watch more of your videos to figure out how you get the best out of these products

Photoshop’s mobile version sucks both on iOS and Android. I’ve used the Book3 Pro 360 for a while for that reason, but I needed something with a dedicated GPU so I got the Ultra after. Now I’m using a Razer Blade 16 👌🏼💯 still haven’t found a solution for Photoshop on the go. But Lightroom works really nice 🔥🔥

you can"t say "silky smooth" and say 60hz in the same sentence. 120hz+ is a must have at that price

120Hz is simply unnecessary for professional workflows. If you look at the feature set of the monitor, it's targeted at creative professionals. I think 120Hz is great for gaming, and having smooth ui animations, but in terms of professional content workflow, no one really asks for it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sheesh another banger tech review - loving the new talking head setup and the monitor looks like a beast! (That Matte Display test was a cool way to show the huge difference between Glossy and Matte displays🤯) - Looking forward to that next video!

Hypothetically, you should be able to. I personally didn't try to, but you'd need a mini-DisplayPort to HDMI cable to connect to it 🤙🏻💯

It depends on the strength of your connection 🤙🏻 I always try to connect hardwired, but it's a good alternative if you don't have a cable lying around 🙌🏻🔥

I'm using the Grovemade Large Desk Shelf 🤙🏻🔥 Honestly, any desk shelf in this quality range is going to be a tad pricey, but they last a life time so I think it's a good investment in the long run
