@@zues34blue I thought it was just so large because it needed that to stay cool. I think that water cooled 4090's are actually smaller than the air-cooled ones. I can also imagine that the people who spend around $2k on a graphics card don't care all that much about what it looks like, but are instead focused on the performance. Maybe NVidia does market it as show factor though.

There is an evga 4090 but there are only a few prototypes around. Theres a video on youtube somewhere where the guy tests it out. The only problem is there were only like rudimentary drivers for it because evga stopped working on it.

they stopped producing RTX4090 GPUs, thus now they are skyrocketing in price. My Palit RTX4090 was 1668€ in April 2023, then it jumped to 2400€ in March 2024, now it's gone. The cheapest one now is the ASUS TUF for 1999€
