I can't wait to get it running either, should be finishing it soon! Yeah the price is definitely high to say the least, and I could probably get more power out of it with a turbo but it's a great opportunity for me to explore another kind of forced induction!

Great video! Any plans on upgrading the oil pump? There’s not many videos on it, even though it’s one of the most mentioned things to do.

It's very simple. Just go through the process of replacing the timing chain. Then the oil pump is right there behind the chain. 5 bolts or so if i remember correctly. 100% bolt in, assuming its the MWR one.

I have the 1zz in my e130 and I know you have every e130 Corolla so I got to check out more of your stuff because I've hit a ceiling with my power as a driver. I can spin her around 270-degree hairpins and all that but she just doesn't have the power to keep ahead of someone on a straight. I remember watching your video of your turbo 1zz and I might not turbo mine but probably find another way to make gains even if it's just a little bit. Looking forward to seeing an update, soon, on your 2ZZ! 🤙

Why stand alone over piggy back every time? I'm thinking about buying this kit for my MR2 Spyder and I have added factory cruise control. I've never done anything like this before and I don't like the idea of losing OBDII capability and possibly the cruise. Can you address any of this? Thanks.

Hi! I have this exact car, right now in the shop getting brand new MWR transmission with LSD, short shifter, bushings. Why did you choose this over turbo?

That's awesome, I'd love to fit an LSD to mine eventually! I've never done anything with a supercharger before, so even though I could likely make more power with a turbo I went with a supercharger as a learning experience!

​@WillChang dude. Dude. The limited slip gives crazy turning ability. Tired used to chirp off the line, not anymore, just grip. Much more supple in sweepers, and much higher cornering speeds, just way way more confidence in turns. Feels like a real sportscar now where before it was "sporty'. Also the new six speed short shifter makes the car just quicker. Win!

​@WillChang ok a couple days later, and I'll leave it alone, but you should definitely do this for next project. The short shifter is really cool, yes, now it *really* feels like a Lotus transmission, but the LSD is the biggest gamechanger. The car is incredibly agile now. It had really good handling before, but now, s is real. I'll never own another car that doesn't have one.
