Unboxing the Verizon-Exclusive, 5G-Ready Motorola Moto Z3

I am still using my over a year old Moto G5 PLUS sub $300 phone brand new and I have yet to see any lagging of any kind from it. Still as smooth and quick as new. I usually have many apps going at once. I still don’t see the need to move up and spend rediculous hard earned or borrowed money for. I can afford what ever phone I want and pay cash but not interested in losing money to have the latest and greatest for what? If mine got lost or broke I am not going to go in a panick either. I use to be a Brand New IPhone guy every year and then I moved up to the Note Series from Note 2, 3 and 4 and then I came back to reality. Almost all new phones sold today will do 99.9% of what we want from them.

It's to hold the cord more securely if you have your headphones in the adaptor. I finally figured it out

I thought it might be for holding the cords somehow. It is funny that in each review that I have watched, the reviewers pick it up and put it back in the box. They probably do not know what it is for.

@@knightbrian92 Mine just gave up the ghost:( On the advice of the Verizon rep I was suggested this phone. She was spot on. Motorola makes the best antennas in the business. I'm able to pick up reception everywhere unlike the LG V30 I briefly only had for a weekend. That was a disaster. (Although it is a nicely designed phone) Learned my lesson.

My school in Bend is a complete dead zone. 1 bar of LTE max and as we know 1 bar of LTE is basically no reception or at least on Verizon it is.

Only disappointment I have is Motorola is slowly allowing it's mod to rot. I just bought this phone only to find out that I can't buy a Motorola wireless charging mod+shell. Nada, zilch. I went to three stores in Marin county and nobody had it. Nowhere online, not at Motorola store or Verizon online. I was dismayed. I'd suggest staying away from anymore Moto Z mod phones until they start supporting it again. Solid phone and I did the JBL speakers. That's it. Cheers.

Not liking it one bit. Using a z2 force as I speak, this phone is garbage. Laggy performance, camera that looks like it's priced at $300, it's such a terrible experience. I was really hoping that the z3 would be worth upgrading, but it's literally a z2 force in a z3 play's body, and I can't even get it since it's a Verizon exclusive. The mods don't even feel special anymore, this 5g mod is gonna be a fail because not only do you have to carry a oversized mod, what if you want to connect another mod but need the 5g speeds, or what if it dies and you want those speeds. It's a shame that you will literally be able to pick up some 5g enabled phones around the same time as this phone's mod, and you won't be sacrificing 2 generations of a flagship proccessor (835 vs 855). The flagship line is dead, thanks Lenovo
