The nylon base plate is optional, it should be included !! Nobody leaves their elec motor on overnight or while transporting. Ted

I leave mine on during transport, saves time, but yeah it goes inside at night

​@@Robonza Thank you for your reply, sorry for my overly late response, I had another just now which is why it reminded me to reply ... like you, I would not leave my watersnake connected to boat overnight, nor when I'm away from boat. I would alwas disconnect it to save it being pinched. Hence why I said the nylon base plate should be included. Ted 👍

Best priced leccy on the market. Wanted to buy one but no feedback anywhere, so spent on another model. Probably might of saved some money. But anything over 1k is a big spend for me.
