Yeah but red is also the most flattering color for all skin tones. Imagine if the lipsticks were either pinkish or brownish. Half the shades would look ridiculous on pale or dark complexions. I think it’s rather smart of them to just do various shades of red. This will appeal to and flatter most people

Not really, it depends on the shade of red, I look like a frog in orange, pink and true reds but look fine in brown and blue reds. One or two neuturals like beige or brown in the bunch would have been nice, or like a lip balm, or some glosses to put over 3 different shades of red might have been more useful than a lifetime supply of just red lipstick. 😂
