Here I go again! This is my 3rd time attempting to use the Thoth deck. Technically, that's true. In actuality, this is my first TRUE attempt to learn. I allowed preconceived prejudices against religious iconography to prevent my spiritual growth. (I was in a bad place back then.) I've been back to seriously working on myself in new ways for quite a while, and I truly believe the time is right for this. Mastering the Tree of Life and its paths has always been my goal. To tell you the truth, I wasn't prepared to appreciate that kind of knowledge. It's been decades, so I'm ready for the Tree.

My name is Robert. In 2016 I was diagnosed with something called Valley Fever (coccidiomichosis). It's a fungal spore in the dirt throughout some of the Southwest. Fungal as in mushrooms. I'm in Arizona. Normally, IF anyone has symptoms, it's usually flu-like symptoms that may last a day, and that's it. However, to 1% of the population, it's fatal. Hi, I'm 1%. By the time they realized what was happening to me, I had developed lesions in my lungs and one on my cerebellum. Yup. Shroom for brains. The only option was brain surgery to remove the brain lesion. The doctor was able to remove most of it, but not all. That just means that I have to be on medication to prevent it from growing and to prevent more lesions from developing. The cerebellum is responsible for coordinating voluntary movements. It's also responsible for a number of functions, including motor skills such as balance, coordination, and posture. I was a hairstylist/ nail tech before the operation. I now have balance problems, and I tend to fall occasionally, but it's OK. I look very dashing using a walking stick. I drop things ALOT, and I have severe hands tremors, I can't lift anything too heavy, and I get tired pretty quickly. So, now I'm retired. Now that I'm in a new phase of life, I decided to go back to one of my first loves, tarot. Tarot and my spirituality helped to get me back on track. Actually, they helped me find a new track. I leaned into my gifts. I decided life was short, and I should be doing what I could to help people. I do that as a professional Tarot Reader.
