KB Toys was great! I shopped there when I moved to New Orleans....along with Toys 'R' Us, Kmart, Walmart, Service Merchandise, Target...and other places that sold Hot Wheels and NASCAR diecast. KB Toys had an Outlet store in an Outlet Mall in Gulfport MS right off of I-10. My buddy and I used to find all sorts of cars at that outlet store. Still have a lot of them. But...I have been collecting Hot Wheels since the first came out. How I wish that I still had the 100's of HW's me and my 3 brother's had!!! I am 63 years old, and I can guarantee you we had all of the initial Hot Wheels.

I love these 90's Hotwheels.

Hello, Mark. At about 14:20, you're wondering if there are any Metal base/Metal body models still in the HW basics. There are - the VW Beetle issued in the recent 'Chess' sub-set. I made sure that I got a black and a white one when I found this out, and it's a satisfyingly heavy little model. Nice to see more videos from you. I understand completely why you had to cut your content, but I really miss the Weekend Show, and Truckin' Tuesday. Hope everything is good, though. I love a lot of these old models - I bought several of them, back in the day, for my niece, whose mum used to race Minis, and was a little girl who much preferred toy cars to dolls. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure if will increase or decrease the value, but , I have a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air ,white hot rod, but the blister care identifies it as a Porsche 9 1 1. Not to brag, but I started my collection back in November of 1989. I have amassed an enormous collection of diecast cars/trucks in all scales and manufacturers. I envey those who have a very impressive collection. I have about 40 of the original sweet 16 Red Lines, and about 36 Treasure Hunts, some are doubles and triples. Back in 2001, Tide detergent had a promotion where, if you bought two large units of liquid or powder laundry soap, youd get a free HOT WHEELS. It was a generic looking NASCAR stockcar, featuring a tampo of the store I work at, KING SOOPERS, in Colorado. After the sale, they had about a dozen left over so my manager gave 'em all toe for nothing! The other two HOT WHEELS I habe that have errors on 'em is the TOW JAM, with the name LIGHTNIN' JOE'S misspelled, and a cabover heavy hauler with the wrong retirement date tampoed on it. I also have one of those trucks featuring the Twin Towers on it. I run into a lot of collectors who really want it, but, it's not for sale!🚙🚗🛻🚐🚚🚛🏎️🚒🚑🚓🚕🛺🚌🚍🚔🚘🚆
