I recently found your channel and I really enjoy your videos. Although I do not collect knives, I instead look for vintage Military items here in Mexico City, where I’ve lived for nearly 10 years. Great gift to the Tunnels to Towers!!! Much respect to all our servic men and women. My nephew was a tank commander in the Marine Corp, fought in Iraq and he and his crew were injured by an ied. He lost both legs from the knees down, then came home and had a son, is active in the outdoors, is trying to start a business in RV repair, and is part of his church security team-those Marines, you just can't stop them. That Mother of pearl is gorgeous knife. I love the look of the mother of pearl. Always have and the kindness that is shown. I didnt realize there is that many caring people left. I sit here and it gets harder and harder to keep chugging along and although I dont get to see it in person knowing its out there helps me along. Suffering the loss of a loved one is something that really never gets easier we just get better at learning how to cope with it. I believe Riverside California was once the home of the legendary knife maker Bob Loveless. 1 of his knives have been sold for over 50k dollars.

@@theknifedoctor Doc if you get some time. Look up Bob Loveless knife maker on youtube, he was in the navy. He made his 1st knife on a navy ship, his life story is incredible!!!! He has designed the best fixed blade patterns in recent history. Including the drop point hunter , subhilt fighter, chute knife , NY special ,and so on.
