It's a beautiful sword, with a unique and elegant blade shape. I have a budget line Shadow Dancer Katana of 9260 Spring Steel, and it is of excellent quality for the price.

I have two ~$1,000 katana from the Dragon Sword days. Mine was one of the first orders hit by the first PayPal freeze. The company was VERY easy to work with for a "Chinese company". ABSOLUTELY great quality product, I was sure satisfied for the price. I would buy more Shadow Dancer, but I've went more the Citadel / Motohara route for now.

I'm VERY picky about the geometry when it comes to swords. I wasn't sure if I would like this particular sword when I saw the blade, but this is growing on me.

I don’t mean to debunk your video as it was very good. I just wanted to make a correction. Nagamaki was not a shortened naginatata. That would be a Nagamaki/naginata nioshi (depending on what type was used) . I would say your sword from Shadow dancer is more a representative of a “nioshi” and not a “Nagamaki “ as “nagamaki” would have a really long tsuka. Good vid though!!

This is a mistake on my part, his name on the website is actually nagamaki zukuri, which is nagamaiki with the length of nakago modified, thank you
