Great gifts, donations, future projects and unboxing video, Dave. I believe the American Character toy company ( a doll manufacturer ) made the Bonanza action figures, back in the 60's. They released Ben, Hoss, Little Joe and a villain as individual action figures, each with hat, gun belt, gun and other accessories. A wagon and several horses were also produced. The villain was originally intended to be Adam Cartwright, but the actor who played Adam left the show, so American Character just stuck a moustache on him and called him the villain. :)

Very realistic faces on these figures. I often see them listed on Ebay as being made by Marx, I think mainly because they resemble the Johnny West figures, You are correct though, they were manufactured by American Character. Some of them go for good money in decent condition. I like them and will probably start a collection at some point.

Hey Dave. I’m surprised to see the Bonanza toys since I didn’t know that such toys were made. I love old Western shows and Bonanza is one of my absolute favorite shows. The action figures that you have one being Ben Cartwright played by Lorne Greene. He was the father of three; Adam the oldest, Hoss the big guy & Little Joe which is the other action figure you have there. You need Adam and Hoss. There was also their Chinese cook, his name escapes my thoughts. Oh I think his name was Hop Sing. Very interesting haul you have there. 👌🏻

That Michael Landon headsculpt is amazing, even better than Lorne Greene, although there's a sheepishness to it that makes me think that we've caught him remembering the time that lady sat on him at the circus. That's a rich haul of Transformers as well. Slugslinger's transformation scheme might seem a little straightforward, but the more traditional action figure feel it affords the robot mode seems very now. I had Slingshot as well, and I will always love that concertina cockpit/exhaust-to-rocketpack design.

Ahhhh, the old Tippex instead of white paint trick. I can remember doing this particular childhood 'fix' many a time back when I was a wee lad. No idea why, even as a kid I could see it just eventually made things worse.

The other guy with Lorne Greene (Ben Cartwright) is Little Joe Cartwright. There also was a Hoss Cartwright figure. 1960’s.

The missing feet from Raptors falcon are a common problem with all the bird figures. I made replacement feet for Voltars bird out of a piece of styrene tubing. This allowed the feet to flex and still grip the arm. I used some styrene rod to make the replacement legs and a small amount of milliput to fill the hole in the bodyand anchor the styrene rod into the body of the bird. A small amount of paint and voila, new talons and they work really well.

The double-nosed jet is Slugslinger, a Targetmaster. The red and blue car is another Targetmaster called Pointblank. The purple jet is another Skydive from the G1.5/G2 line. The Technobot is Afterburner.

I dont know what show they were from but i rember in the early 1990s my older brother having some of the metal little figures and i was fascinated by them and used to carry them around with me .

The twin jet is Targetmaster slugslinger , The small purple jet is predator Skyside Only released in Europe. I have him loose & Sealed. Those red Missles came with the Generation 2 Optimus prime. They retooled a launcher that came with a GI Joe figure & Gave it to Optimus in the G2 Line. Poor slingshot in G2 I would love to see you do a & Tackle a custom paint job of a G1 slingshot into G2 Colors.. Since the G2 version crumbles

Those Bonanza figures looked so sad with their busted up wagon and melty horses😭 Hopefully u can get them fixed up into some sort of reasonable state

The figures you see here are Bonanza Action Men based on the characters from the Western TV series Bonanza. Patriarch rancher Ben Cartwright and Joseph ‘Little Joe’ Cartwright are the figures you have here. An figure of Adam was planned to be released based off of the likeness of Pernell Roberts who had left the show after six seasons so the figure was quickly retooled and made into a baddie simply know as Outlaw. The colour scheme is very similar to Adam’s all-black outfit as if he was fighting his own freaking father and brothers! Plus, the Hoss figure is very much different to his the character looks in the show. Little Joe did not wear a vest/waistcoat or bandana or both - just the iconic green corduroy jacket worn by Django Freeman decades later. Ben’s shirt was either purple or a darker shade of blue and his scarf bandana was green. The figures, horses and wagon were made by American Character and sold in the UK by Palitoy.

Big fan of you and the channel. I get army building stormtroopers or whatever within reason for a display...but I don't think it is right to have 700 Boba Fetts or 200 Miles Mayhems. Seems you are taking them away from other collectors. Sometimes you see something that you don't need, you say....I will leave that for another collector...... I think that kind of applies. Again, love the channel, the videos, and what you do. Just my thoughts on these monopolizing projects.....

I understand that. But I really don't think it makes much of a difference. Especially with Star Wars there are just so many of the figure around. With M.A.S.K. I really don't know. But my betting is that there were many many more made than what I am looking for. And when I am done they will go back into circulation.

Sure 900 Boba Fetts might be a small percentage of all Boba Fetts that were produced.....but it is a larger percentage of the smaller number that have survived. Again love the channel, keep doing what you do.

That's a hard one to know. There are so many still being found in lofts and garages. The supply of vintage Star wars toys never seems to get any less.
