You know, my mom said when I was about 2 years old, she heard something rustling in the middle of the night. She got up to see what it was and found me in the middle of the floor tearing paper into little pieces. I was preparing myself for this moment in time where we love anything paper. And we love to hear the sound of paper tearing. Lol. But anyway I love this kit. It’s fabulous. And to put it in a backpack is just genius

Hi Gayle. I just picked up a gorgeous scrapbook at an estate sale. Follows a young lady dating, getting married and grandkids. So much ephemera and treasures, letters and telegrams, dance cards and invitations, birth announcements, letters from his time in the army... So beautiful.

It would be cool to use one of the collectible spoons & attach it to the paracord or twine for a wrap around journal closure, instead of the usual vintage key tied to lace or crinkled seam binding! Fun kit!

If one were really clever (& brave) s/he could heat & bend the spoon backwards into a U shape & use it as a clasp or clip to close the journal. Note: I am neither clever nor brave enough to attempt this myself, but would love to watch someone on KZbin do it, so that I can continue living vicariously through my favorite KZbinrs! 😂😉😏

The strip of film was for a “Tru-Vue” (I think that is how it is spelled.) viewer which was s precursor to the View Master. I had both when I was a kid. I knew what it was as soon as I saw the little box. Fun stuff! 😃

Don't mention Bingo to me ever again! I used to be the Activities Director at an assisted living facility and there was a certain group that was MAD for Bingo. SIX hours per week and they would have played 40 hours if they were allowed. There was hardly any time to do anything else and they'd complain if I even tried to prep things for another class in between calling out the numbers. It was a total nightmare of two hours of MWF boredom for me - plus I had a fetch and carry drinks and snacks for the oldsters. There were only 10 in the group but they took up the majority of my time. It's been over 10 years ago but I still cringe when I hear the word Bingo . Anyway, can't wait to see what you do with the Girl Scout sash as I was a leader for 10 years and I have an entire big box of stuff from that period,
