UNBOXING WAHL SENIOR CLIPPER (Real vs Fake clipper)

Hello everyone, I share a video on the differences between a real Wahl Senior Clipper (Cordless) and a fake one.

but wahl is manufactured in brazil too, and has a different transformer, is it fake or is it manufactured in another country with a different quality???

Thanks a lot. You saved my day cause just a couple of hours before I see this video, I ordered a senior clipper from ebay, and your video alerted me to look into the details so I was able to quickly spot that it was most probably a fake clipper bought from somewhere and then sold on ebay as if it is original (the packing was different from both what u showed but was much closer to the fake packaging and was in general not good and feels cheap, the wrapping as in the fake one, the lever was horribly hard to move and the clipper itself felt in general cheap in hand or fake, i.e. not as an original professional clipper as one would expect etc). So I shipped it back in 5 minutes (thanks god I had thia option) and then ordered another one from a trusted source. Believe me, I felt so relieved when I did so. Thanks!

the biggest difference is the plastic comb marking ?what is the difference in the cutting result? I wouldn't mind because of the sound.

What I could tell by the different sound was because you left the lever of the supposed fake wahl raised, and the other one left low, this changes the sound of the machines

Indeed, but the sound remains lower in the fake clipper with equal lever

We know sometime we feel like just cus the fake has been working well for you doesn't mean the real one still better its ORIGINAL for a reason

I thing , the left one isn't fake. Left one is version for Europe. It is made in Wahl Hungary ( Mosonmagyarovar) factory. You can see it in the botton of back side of the clipper.

I am sure that both are not fake, one is European plug, other is American. edit: You are right, one is fake. Watched again and both clippers have EU plugs. Just got mine delivered, fortunately I got a real one. There are clear statements in the manual about cordless runtime (abot an hour), and the led light: it should light up when clipper is in use.

Ive seen like a dozen fake vs real Wahl videos and in all of them people point out that its not fake but a different version! And wow there are so many versions of the same models and then so many models! I beginning to wonder if there are any fake/counterfeit clippers out there?!

Thanks for the video. I sent my Senior over to Wahl for repair as it stopped working properly. They returned it and told me it was a fake model. Apparently the webshop I bought it from scammed me over..

i have this wahl senior but having some problem, battery drains quickly like can cut only 2 clients then stop, so i have to charge it again, it is made in Hungary

There is a battery upgrade for senior. Unscrew, unplug, change and back. Thats it.

Of course there are differences in functionality: the battery which lasts a maximum of 30 min, the clipper heats up very strongly and very quickly, and the lever is almost unusable.
