Hi, great video and it explained well! The only thing i am confused about is how to adjust the hop up and the sight in the front.
@SpecialWeaponsAndPlastic2 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear that it was helpful. The hop-up is adjusted just like all the Wei-Tech AR replicas. Pull the bolt back, insert appropriate hex-key. Very straightforward. The front sight will require a front sight adjustment tool. I did not receive one with this replica, but I did get one with my M4, so I'm not sure what's up, but real adjustment tools should work. So getting one of those is recommended.

Hey I was wondering if this gun is good stock or would you need to upgrade it? I have seen many videos of the gas spewing out of the magazine. If it does require upgrades how much do you really need to upgrade it? Thanks for helpful videos btw.
@SpecialWeaponsAndPlastic4 жыл бұрын
Personally, I only upgrade the trigger components once they break. Only then do I replace them, piece by piece, with steel parts. An upgraded inner barrel might be required, depending on your strategy and role. If you play indoors or outdoors, etc. But that's about it. Some real furniture will add character and nuance to it, so that would be an option if you wish.

Hello again, kind sir. I got the WE-Tech XM177E2 recently, and I am planning on buying the WE-Tech M16A1. How did the M16A1 hold up after nearly 3 years? Thank you for your reply.
@SpecialWeaponsAndPlastic2 жыл бұрын
Sadly I haven't had many opportunities to use it as much as I would like.Combine that with the many modifications done to my M16A1 it would be rather unfair to judge it as a factory replica. But all my other WE's have held up within expectations. That goes for both M4's, HK416 and M16A3. One trigger group did chewed itself to bits. Never could figure out why though. Did not abuse it nor use it any more than the others, but those things happen. Replaced it with another factory one which is still going. Other than that there's the occasional trouble with hop-up housings, which were easily mended by changing hop-up rubbers. Nothing major to complain about.

@SpecialWeaponsAndPlastic5 жыл бұрын
During the summer months, when temperatures are comfortably above freezing, it is most certainly practical for playing. 30-round magazines will be more effective, but 20-rounders are more correct if that's what's needed for your Vietnam kit. Indoors, clearing room-to-room might be slightly suboptimal.
@salt.52915 жыл бұрын
@@SpecialWeaponsAndPlasticPlastic oh thanks, man! are the iron sights on point and is it worth the price? (btw ur vids are really helpful!!!)
@SpecialWeaponsAndPlastic5 жыл бұрын
Like with most replicas, the sights are nowhere near the point of impact from the factory. My suggestion is that one sets the sights last. The first priority should be to install the inner barrel of choice, accompanied by a hop-up rubber (if you absolutely need a tight-bore inner barrel). Then set the hop-up so the trajectory is as flat and long as possible. Preferably with a small rise before the BB hits the ground. Then you can set the sights at the distance you prefer. Be it 25 meters or 50 meters. As far as price goes, and if you have your mind set on an M16A1, my opinion is that it's absolutely worth the price. It's up-gradable with miscellaneous inner barrels, hop-up rubbers and trigger parts. The furniture is compatible with real parts, and it's overall an AR. The only downside is the colour of the upper and lower, plus the lack of engravings. But stay tuned, because that will be addressed in the near future. Glad you enjoy my videos! Share them with your friends!

Hello, I am currently thinking about buying this WE M16A1 although many people trash talk it because of the Poorly designed FCU. Do you think that WE M4s/M16s/HK416s are viable? It is near to impossible to get VFC in EU for normal price... Although there is TM, but I want something looking old shoolish If you know what I mean, and no, I cant order from outside of EU because of the border situation. And If It is viable purchase, is it skirmishable as a main primary with a proper care and maybe swapping FCU/ Nozzle for RA Tech ones? I would really like to hear someone having lots of experience with WEs such as you. Also nice video I really enjoyed it!

My bolt isn't locking back when the last shot is fired. The magazine switch is in the correct position. What am I doing wrong
@SpecialWeaponsAndPlastic3 жыл бұрын
Could be several factors at play. Separately or together in any order. Your magazine follower spring may be too weak, making it unable to push the bolt catch up far enough. Your spring for the bolt catch msy be too strong, thus overpowering the mag follower, and disabling last round hold open. The hole for the bolt catch pin may be too tight, thus not allowing the bolt catch to rotate freely enough. There could be another issue completely unrelated to the above, but without the replica in front of me, it is very hard to diagnose the problem.

Depends on what factors you consider most important. If you want a gas blowback M16A1 then I say this is a very suitable replica. If you want something more of a year-round-airsoft and you live in colder climates, then you should consider an AEG of some sort. Also gas blowback has its drawbacks with FPS consistency, the need for maintenance and service, parts wearing out, and so on. I recommend weighing the different aspects carefully before making a decision.
