It's very important to bring your flowers inside as soon as they are delivered. If you are unable to hydrate them immediately, make sure to place your box of flowers in a cool spot.
When you receive your box, open it and carefully lift the insert that holds the flowers.
Each bouquet is secured with velcro straps and is labeled so you know exactly what it is.
Have a pitcher with room temperature water, a few empty vases and sheers at hand.
Unfasten the velcro straps and remove each bouquet, boutonierre and corsage carefully from the box.
Next, add floral food to your pitcher of water and pour about 1-2 inches of water into several vases or glasses.
Cut off 1 inch from the bottom of each corsage and boutonierre. Fill the tubes with 1 inch of fresh water and place corsages and boutonierres back in tubes.
Now for the bouquets, carefully remove the wrapping from the stems and cut off 1 inch from the bottom and place bouquets in each vase. Make sure the ribbon is above water level so it does not get stained.
Keep in mind your flowers will arrive in a bud stage, they will open beautifully in 2-3 days.
You might notice a few petals look bruised from their journey. This is very common, especially with roses. Remove these petals carefully.
Place flowers in a cool room where they aren't exposed to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
Make sure you check on your flowers and refill vases with water until your special day. Enjoy your flowers!
