Yeah, we were just messing around and trying to figure it out. We've since been practicing and have made some pretty cools things. I've made a couple pens and pencils. Bart is making a chess set from scratch.

The tool should be close to your work and the tool handle should be below and not above your work on the rest.. Much better and secure control .

Definitely. We learned that as we used it. We both have never used a lathe before. Such a great tool to have in the shop.

You can have fun but if you’re too cool for basic safety (glasses) you’ll never be taken seriously as a channel someone will trust. I know I know. It’s just an opinion but please consider this if you haven’t since the 11 months this video was posted.

I have since gotten a full face shield and an apron when using it. So important.
