I found your channel when my therapist hinted that we might be a system 1 1/2 years ago and it scared me to death. At first you and some of the other DID youtubers just gave me some peace of mind, because I didn't really know much about this unique structure of mind. I've been in inpatient care for trauma last summer and am currently in outpatient treatment for trauma and your videos are part of the reason I learned to open up to my alters. Since tuesday I have my diagnosis and don't feel like an imposter anymore, I can take my alters more seriously and funny enough the fact that I got a diagnosis instantly changed the behavior of some of my parts. While I do not have actual DID I've been diagnosed with DDNOS with ego-state disorder (As far as I know we're alway at least co-con, so I don't have amnesia but lose controll over the actions of our body) and since it's so close to DID watching educational videos is helping and giving me a ton of relief. I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. You made it so much easier for me to deal with this and understand what's going on. For the longest time I was convinced I'm just going crazy (more so than I already am LOL). Thank you so much. (Sorry for any grammar or spelling errors, we're a bit over excited and German ^^; )

In the US DDNOS has been split into more specific categories. Having alters without amnesia between them is OSDD1-b. So whenever I talk about OSDD systems, I’m talking about you! Welcome to the system family 💕

I wanted to specially say thanks because with this info I talked with my mom and she discovered one of her infancy friends had (probably) undiagnosed DID back in the 60s of rural Mexico, now we're praying for her to had found/to find help with that. Also, I agree - anyone who says they don’t like the Eeveelutions is probably lying. Eeveelutions are my absolute favorite Pokémon, so I had to buy that puzzle when I saw it. Lots of love! (And best witches, too. Witches are great.) P.S. the WTF on the sticky notes actually stands for “what’s this for?” I have a whole set of acronym sticky notes that don’t stand for what they usually stand for. I got them and the envelope seal from knock knock stuff.

Okay, very random, here comes a long comment because my escalating excitement demands to be expressed. So,... I binge watched your channel the last 3 days, and I learned so freaking much, I almost can't handle it. I don't have DID, I have borderline personality disorder. I feel really weird saying I learned a lot about myself through learning about DID, because my struggles and how much they hinder me are not comparable to someone who has to build a functioning system with 12 very different individuals. You amaze me, every one of you. The way all alters agree, protecting the system is the top priority. I can't express how deeply impressed I am. I know that's the result of hard work and by no means is any of this easy. I feel like through your (and other DID channels) videos, education and simply by letting us in in your inner world, I understand personality 100 times better. DID gives an unbelievable peek into our brains (I'm a med student (currently not “active” due to hospitalization) and now I kinda wanne study DID specializing in neuro-psychiatrie maybe (if I'm able to finish medschool)) sorry, I lost track, back to the topic ^^ With BPD I am not multiple, but I have very different versions of myself. I am all of these versions, and also kinda none of them. I'm more the moderator trying to uncover the lies I tell myself and to right misguided believes I act on. The problem I'm dealing with at the moment is the way I treat myself. The relationship I have with myself and with my body is very unhealthy. The relationships between the alters, and the relation to the body and treating the body as if it was an alter itself, I think I cried hours over how amazing, loving, supportive you all are. You accept all of the alters, exactly as they are, you welcome them in, you validate their needs, you offer them support and comfort, protection and safety. That's everything, and everything I need to learn. I'm singular, but I need to understand that I still deserve to be treated the way I'd treat others, all parts of me are valid, my emotions are allowed to be felt, I deserve forgiveness from myself. My body is my teammate. I need to stop now. I'm overwhelmed, thank you so so much. You are amazing!
