I bought the Gan 12ui about 2 months ago and I love it. I bought the Gan Robot v2 a few weeks ago, but it seemed to malfunction about 50% of the time with the 12ui. No matter how carefully I made sure that the claws were all in place, it would work for maybe 2-3 scrambles before it started slipping on at least one side, leaving it in a scrambled state while the robot thought it was solved. The 12ui has no setup (as is from the box), so it’s not like I’d gummed it up with too much lube - it’s still very fast. I ended up returning the Robot yesterday as I just couldn’t justify keeping it if it wasn’t going to work consistently. I’ve heard rumors that they might be releasing a completely new version this year and if they do, I might try that.

The whole video is filled with great cubing stuff... And here I am excited every time I see the chef's knife ! "Ah yes ! Damascus steel... you recognize it because of the patterns on the blade and (starts explaining stuff about forging, katanas, and slowly I arrive to Viggo Mortensen breaking his toe in LOTR and not faking the cry of despair, and... i think that is what the robot was made for. to do you scramble , but whats the point anyway. i think it is more for competitions to scramble lot of cubes with the same scramble.
