The Antarctic broadcast was great. I used my portable Tecsun PL330 on 13.810.00 in which it came in pretty good. Unfortunately, my dog had to go out, so I took the PL-330 with me and as I laid the antenna next to my wife's metal(aluminum) clothesline the reception improved tremendously. Came in the house and hooked up my MLA30+ and it was about the same as the clothesline. Go figure! I may be hanging the next wash with my shortwave radio in hand.
