We're taking a look back at the Zenfone Max Pro M1 since it got a Php 1,000 price cut here in the Philippines; bringing the SRP down to Php 8995 for a limited time during the sale on Lazada. We're testing it out on three games: Asphalt 9, Vainglory 5v5 and, of course, PUBG Mobile.

Wow, I'm impressed how smooth Asphalt 9 runs on this phone! Currently, I own an Asus Zenfone 3 and I was looking for a new smartphone. This Asus Zenfone Max Pro sounds good to me, especially with the specs and low price. Here in Europe we have the 4GB/64GB model for €249. It's the best smartphone in its price range. After seeing this video I'm definitely going to buy this smartphone. Excellent!!!

I only have 1 problem in mine, the "Not-so 5000mAh" Battery, because it has an abnormal battery drain even when not in use. How can I fix that? I've done recalibration, wipe cache partition, and manual system update, but I can't see the true 5000mAh battery performance. Can anyone help me? I bought it just 1 month ago. I tried playing in a psp emulator, no problems with the graphics, framerate and latency. So far the game i played to test the psp emulator is SRW z2 Hakai-hen no frame rate dips and audio lags whatsoever.

how about the asus bloatwaresin this phone? coz i am also using a zenfone series now and bloatwares are so disappointing its more like parasitic to the phone itself consuming half of the 3GB ram and only 1.++ ram remaining even though bunch of the factory bloatwares are already been disabled.

Trust me only three boltemware apps fb, insta and Asus services and the phone is damn smooth and I'm using 6gp ram 64gp of storage

Here in the philippines there are tons of asus bloatwares.the same pain in im experiencing on my selfie and my older asus zenfones.not to mention the firmware updates problems and bugs from asus. Hope this one doesnt have as much bloatware as asus gives.☺☺☺

@@moreibon4128 I guess the bloatware is now lesser than expected. Since the ZenFone 4 series, all irrelevant bloatwares are removed. But for the Max Pro M1, even lesser than the ZenUI because the Max Pro M1 is in Pure Android and not ZenUI.
