I've been using the last version, the Honor Magic4 Pro for a year now. Cameras are good, but the 100x is crap. Nothing is really usable beyong 10x hybrid zoom.

my first honor was the 6x for about $200 it was so good for what it cost and even more expensive phones felt less premium, used it for 4 years till I dropped and smashed the screen, still think it was my best phone to date (and I've used samsung, LG, huawei, apple, Blackberry, ZTE)

My Magic4 Pro kinda disappoints in the front camera quality. I see things haven't improved as much. The charging speed went down from 100W to 66W for some reason, maybe for longevity? 🤔. Either way, the newer chip would fix the thermal issues I face in mine.

I'm using phones with curve screen since 4-5 years and I still love it, cuz it makes the screen look larger & it's more beautiful than the flat screens specially when watching, but my only issue with it is that it's hard to find screen protector for it and when you find it, it's more expensive than the flat screen protector.

I have the Magic5 Lite.. Cameras are poor on it. I might go back to Xiaomi T pro series.. Brilliant build, but 11T Pro was a letdown with over heating issues and Display malfunctioning at times when using the powerful 120w charger that comes with it..

Wasn't Honor supposed to be the less expensive sub-brand of Huawei? The specs seem nice and all, but this is in no way a $1200USD phone. Hell, I don't even think it's a $1200CAD phone. I have the previous model (the Magic 4 Pro) and it's kinda trashy. It has the annoying habit to apply HDR to everything, KZbin videos, Netflix, videos you recorded yourself etc. I was able to dissable that behavior uninstalling an app called IAware or something. Still the camera also applies HDR to every single picture and there's no way to disable it. I'm sure this phone is the same
