I bought a bricked PSP Street a couple of years ago, thinking I could fix it. Maybe my time has come! Edit: (3 hours later) - it's fixed!!! I'm so happy these people worked tirelessly to build an almost 1-click solution! The HW side was easy for the PSP Street, just a diode between Tx and Rx plus the common ground and that's it. All the programs worked fine, created the special memory stick without an issue, copied the update file. The HW helped the PSP to kick into service mode, found the update and flashed it from the memory stick. After it finished I had issue starting up the machine, I though it had some additional issues but somehow it booted up, finished the initial configuration and it just worked. Tried the UMD drive and it reads disks without an issue. I'm so happy I was able to save this bricked machine and it wasn't going to be used for parts!

Hate to be a buzz kill but could you show us. From what I've gathered soldering is required which is a bit out of reach for me. Is there a means to create hw without needing to solder if not can detailed instructions on what to connect and what parts are needed be shared. Thank you

idk why it isn't working, tried 3 sd cards, two computers, the jigkick circuit is good, uart too, and in the logs of pysweeper (latest version), there are no logs of PSP, just FFFFFFFF log. can you help me? E1004 street model EDIT: Fixed, faulty memory card sd adapter and faulty Mini USB connector, fully working now

What is the exact ps3 waves theme are you using? Can you provide the link for it?

So as per the user guide the only thing between unbricking the different generations is basically the physical hardware/battery used, like the psp 1000-3000 can use a regular phat or slim battery but not the go or street

Correct. The software is the same for Aiseirigh (for DCv10 the Go has its own files, while all other PSPs share the same files), but there are indeed 3 different types of BaryonSweepers (1k/2k/3k share one, Go has its own, E1k has its own too).

@@TheZett thank you for that reply as I’ve already created my own version of ByronSweeper batter for 1000/2000/3000 should I also try to create my own for street and go or should I just order them on twitter from Peter? I see Peter has his own custom built battery’s that looks 3d printed but the street and go doesn’t need batteries so what would be the best option. I’m trying to see if it’s relevant for me to do so.

hi, I am a PSP repairman, I have accumulated about 30 E1000 boards for unbrik, that day has come, but I only managed to unbrick half of the boards and it’s not the power controller or a blown fuse, I don’t understand what’s stopping me from unbricking the rest of the boards, and There is one board that I bricked with my own hands a long time ago and it also doesn’t unbrick

You will need a working memory stick slot, a working USB slot and a working main board. If any of these things are damaged then you cannot use the syscon handshake and thus cannot enter service mode. Also working buttons (at least L+R+Left+Circle).

update: took me a month to learn the entire process and collect all the necessary components. was unable to inject the ipl file on windows 10 so used a vmware and injected the ipl with windows xp. i unbricked my psp street. thank you so much for the video!

It's not, this video is for demonstration purposes. Would it have been better for you if he bricked it on purpose first before making the video?

Currently it is not bricked, but this method also works on devices that are actually bricked. I could have intentionally bricked it first, but I dont think that is necessary. Anyone who has followed the PSP scene for long enough knows that on this channel there are no fakes. If anything gets shown or released, it will be the real deal :)

i did this just whit pandora battery and de aiseirigh on my PSP 2000 ( TA-085v1), i was surprised when the screen with the Flash menu appeared but when y pressed X to Flash it says that the 6.61 updater failed XD
