UNBROKEN SPIRIT
In the face of Friedreich's Ataxia,
My body may weaken and fail,
But my spirit remains unbroken,
And my heart continues to prevail.
For the human spirit is a force,
That cannot be defeated by mere disease,
And in the face of every obstacle,
We rise up and find our own release.
Though my limbs may tremble and shake,
And my steps may falter and slow,
My spirit remains unbroken,
And my will to persevere continues to grow.
For the unbroken spirit within me,
Is a fierce and determined flame,
That will not be extinguished by any trial,
Or any hardship that may come in its name.
And though my journey may be difficult,
And my path may not be straight,
I will keep moving forward with courage,
And an unbroken spirit that cannot be abate.
For the human spirit is a force,
That can never truly be undone,
And in the face of Friedreich's Ataxia,
My spirit and I will continue to be one.
