Kanjuro vs Sanji is tragic. I gotta assume that it was better in the manga The amount of ships loss this episode makes absolutely no sense hahaha again, probably weird adaptation choices. Also a great showing of Kaido's weaponry 10:03 Robin's dark humor never gets old FINALLY JIMBEI IS PART OF THE CREW YESSS. This feels like Oda saying "yes finally adding Jimbei isn't a broken move, we are in the big leagues" And yes, Momo really is just a little weak kid here and it makes sense, even if it is a bit frustrating Kanjuro lowkey the strongest of the 9 or really close and a freaking great traitor, now so much moments make more sense

thankfully this was the last fumble (i think) until the battle starts on Onigashima bcuz that was pissing me off too when i watched these episodes lol Oda just needed to put certain things in play but the execution was terrible 🤣

Most of the problems come from the pacing of actions by the anime. In the manga, kanjuro started flying as soon as the ships arrived and that ship started running off as soon as the first was destroyed. And only like two ships were shot before jimbei hit it
