Not sad to see any of these players go. No player is bigger than the team, and i truly believe Bill is building a tough culture to this team and needs fresh faces. Feel like we need more bodies on defense. I wonder if he is waiting on the remaining 4 playoff teams to add to his war chest of players. Will be interesting to see what plays out with Texas' QB's. Havemt watched much of Manning or Ewers.

I’m not sure that either one of those guys are a big loss. Should be just “replacement level” players to fill the holes and I think BB can certainly find those guys and coach them better!

few things, 1st - waymond jordan touching unc hat before committing to usc was a low blow. And who chooses a crowded rb room for a coach who doesn’t run the ball and prob will get fired after next year, over a starting type role for bill belichick? $? 2nd - bill and Steve on mcafee driving around to high schools today was great! Some great pics from all that on twitter. 3rd - heels fans complaining about lack of high ranked transfers so far. That 6’6 340 lb tackle we got last night was ranked like mid 400s nationally. His 2 top schools were deion’s colorado and us. I trust bill and deion’s evaluations over the rankings. No way he’s 450th best in portal, same with a lot of our guys. bill is also building a team and a culture. You don’t just go out and overpay for a few top ranked guys who are only about $ and playing time. He clearly wants dawgs, guys who can be great with the right support, not just the splash commits. Build the foundation first, the culture first, then comes the first rd nfl pick dudes. 4th - this first year will be the least talented team bill puts out there. Keep that in mind. It takes time to build what he’s building. 2 portal classes, 2 high school classes till it’s really rolling.

I’m trying to stay positive but just feels like if we don’t get more talent in the trenches and a splash QB I’m not expecting a big turnaround next year, I hope I’m wrong.

That’s fair enough, my friend. I think they feel good about Browne but I am still hopeful we’re waiting for Texas to see what’s going on with that QB situation. We’ll see.

I think we will be pleasantly surprised with the O Line next year. Really feel like we need another DT and possibly another edge to round out the D Line more.

@@NCsurfer607 maybe we are missing something and Bill belichick already sees talent on the roster that was misused (Lora, etc.) or he is still looking for talent from the remaining playoff teams.

@@scottlindsay6339well there is a ton of talent on the roster already based on high school rankings and projectibility. It’s just none of them developed so maybe bill can get the best out of them.
