When I got out of the Military fixing jet engines. I was advise by my relatives to work for Boeing. Most of my relatives have work for Boeing as early as the 1940's. I decided not to. I might got paid lesser working for another company but at least I know I got a stable job. I have pension, 401k and Roth IRA. I'd be retiring this year at 57. in hindsight the best decision in life I ever made. Most of my relatives work for the Military/ Defense section of Boeing so they are not affected. But I do have younger nieces and nephews that work for the Commercial Section of Boeing. I don't wanna be in their shoes right now.

The space department has plenty of dead weight. The managers jump around from commercial to defense which is the Artimus program which is delayed till 2025. What are they doing with the down time wasting money is the answer. Boeing should sell the space industry but won't because it is a cash cow for them and it is floating the business.
