I really wish Uncle Noly would take his time and actually learn when Troy is trying to tell him shit. The FAL is the BEST gun in the game, but only if you know how to use it... which Uncle Noly doesn't because he keeps pressing the wrong buttons and not really giving the FAL a chance. Nolan should also listen to Jon, "It's ok to look at the controller." Also, Nolan needs to lower the sensitivity on his aiming because he keeps swinging the reticle wildly. And I know he's not that wild an aimer because he was aiming just fine in the first Uncharted.

I love Nolan's smile during the cutscenes and how it expresses all the joy he associates with each scene. :) Also, can we point out how well Nolan is doing by now? Proper shooting, vast improvement of melee and quick traversal through the levels. Honestly, in the city environment I myself consider it quite hard to identify the way to go/climb sometimes. Keep it up Nolan!

I'm legitimately impressed by how quickly Nolan is improving. When you've played these kinds of games your whole life it can be easy to forget how hard it actually is to (learn to) play games with a controller, and the UC1 playthrough made that painfully clear. At this point though, Nolan is shooting pretty accurately while rolling, throwing grenades, getting into cover and using melee all over the place! He's honestly getting pretty close to what I imagine my own skill level was when playing this game (I embarassingly also remember dying at that truck part a lot lol). Only thing I worry about for the rest of this playthrough is the final boss. That one can be really damn hard, even on lower difficulties. I really feel Nolan's perceverence so far should be commended though, because even without the pressure to perform I could have imagined myself quitting out of sheer frustration. But right now this series is an absolute joy to watch, and I can't wait till the next episode(s)!

Games like Uncharted and any other sorta 360 fast paced 3D game can be quite difficult games to play if you are relatively new to gaming, as they tend to use all buttons on the controller which can be pretty demanding when you are also trying to keep track of everything going on in the game. Nolan has really improved since the very first Uncharted video, and should remember this if he ever feels frustrated or struggles. You were thrown in the deep end Nolan, and at first you were just trying to stay afloat, but now you starting to swim.

He started it first, when he got new glasses when we were 8 and suddenly he could see better and immediately wheeled over to the the NES and was like "lemme play Mario" having never touched it but watching our big sis. took me longer, til Mario kart64. but up to then i was the cheerleader/strategist hehe. and we someone turned Ocarina of time into multiplayer with me using the C/"sword" button in battle and him moving. least until i played it myself. anyway ok *coughs* 8:54 I also have occasional button placement syndrome, mostly with the controllers for PC bc my gamecube trash brain sometimes reverts to its old ABXY ways 9:45 LISTEN. My favourite part of all this is Troy pointing out all of the inaccuracies within the constraints of realism. I did the same when I played. I love it how Nate finds grenades convenient. As if in reality lobbing them wouldn’t blow his foes to bits. Any exposure to explosives would surely instil PTSD within most human minds. The same applies for convenient RPGs. And dropping individuals off buildings. And 12-Gauge shotguns to the face. Nate would be a much bloodier murderer in real life.

As long as you were shooting and running towards the camera in chapter 5, I didn't know it was still possible to get hit by the truck. I used to shoot it just enough that I would have some ammo left. But great job Nolan. You are killing it, definitely see you being a pro by 3.
