That looks more like a goodwill store. Hard to believe it’s all unclaimed.
@windyjarrett5793 Жыл бұрын
It's not all unclaimed, some of it is from abandoned storage units and estate sales.

My family had talked about going, but we never did. It would have been a fairly long drive for us, from Central Florida. Thanks for taking us along! ✌🏼❤️

Used to go there, and to the outlet stores in Boaz, about 25-30 years ago. Last time I was at Unclaimed Baggage I was disappointed. That was 5 years ago.

Like all other secondhand places their prices are outrageous
@brysonclark6568 Жыл бұрын
Actually the majority if not all stuff unclaimed baggage sells is between 20 to 80% off the original price. God bless ❤

Also prices are going up every where
@dbuc46713 ай бұрын
they aren't necessarily all secondhand. they weren't intentionally donated as prior owned in the first place - they were simply items in luggage that were forgotten behind at airports for whatever reason, whether it be beyond the owners control, or something else. u dont know how many of those items could be new - many people travel with gifts to bring to family/friends etc

I cannot imagine looking up the value of all those expensive glasses or anything. Not to mention if anything thing is real or not. In any case, I have never heard of on of those places but looks cool.

I drive down that stretch of 35 at least a couple of times a month and I never fall to be wowed by that view over the river, and the "chernobyl" towers (also known as Bellefonte Nuclear plant) is almost directly across the road from my house and I still chuckle at the chernobyl reference.

Dude started this business with an idea and $300 in his pocket I hope to one day see this place!
@cleophusfowler11 ай бұрын
@@thatgardeninggirl2864 Well sort of. He had a large furniture store there and took 300.00 and sectioned off a small part of the furniture store for unclaimed baggage and it grew to what it is now. The guy's son took over after the father died and greatly expanded operations and he is very wealthy from his own business ventures and lives in Texas. Fly's a private jet to Alabama from time to time to check on things. So it's not a rags to riches start up. I used to work as a contractor for them and knew them pretty well. The store is an overpriced Goodwill store so if you don't ever get to see it you ain't missed much.

How does a person lose a surfboard ? Rename this store "The Goodwill of careless and really stupid people store " Then again could be an inside job at the airport luggage claim.🤔

Family jewelry that was passed down for generations you wouldn't have proof of purchase for that. It's just awful that they can keep that and sell it.
