You are from a different country, so your version of him might not be similar to the one I have. You can say that I am affected by my country's propaganda, I can also say you are affected by your country propaganda as well (if yours is the US or its allies, that that tends to be extremely ugly and twisted). Like I said, those numbers are provided to you by your country, which was the adversary of Vietnam at that time, so we can't talk about authenticity here. Keep in mind that the US is famous for false clams, fake news, false flags for regime change and waging wars. After the war with the US, the idea was to unite the country, and that was Vietnam's business alone. The South was created by the US. It was a puppet. After re-gaining the South, do you really think that those who lived under the puppet government would just be welcoming the North, after all that brainwashing that the North would come and murder people, rape people? No I don't think so. So there had to be some measurements to counter irrational resistance. People only got killed if they point the gun toward the state, which were still many at that time. The North did not kill people for nothing because it would go again the whole point of the war, which is to unite the people. Most Vietnamese refugees now were from the South. Their mindset was that the North were evil, devils, murderers. The same song that the US sings again and again in Iraq, Iran, Libya, Venezuela, Russia, etc. All nations that the US considers its adversaries are portraited that way, so I am not surprised by it. As I said, HCM or the North may have done something wrong, but we can never avoid that. Tell me, can any human being do anything without making mistakes along the way? The point is that you come out successful. Only those who try to destroy you DIG your mistakes. Peace!

For the boats of refugees, all of that was the direct result of the fear and horror the US had spread upon them. Ngày xưa một mình Bác tự mày mò tự học. Không ai hướng dẫn không ai truyền lại kinh nghiệm hay gì. Khác hoàn toàn so với giờ. Gì không biết thì cả ngàn người chỉ. Bác chỉ là viết chữ ra rồi nhờ người bản xứ họ đọc cho vài lần rồi tự nhớ. Ăn còn không đủ . Thì có thể cầm giấy đọc chính xác đã là quá giỏi rồi. Người mà các người ở đây đem ra soi accent dở hay đã cứu cả một dân tộc và làm bạn với những người không nói tiếng Việt. Pol Pot on the other hand, was supported by the CIA and was an opportunist. In fact, Vietnam were the ones to oust Pol Pot in the Cambodian-Vietnamese war.

I believe what you say that he can speak so much Languages is a fake. His vietnamese, which is his naitive Language was so terrible. I seen the document that he wrote in vietnamese and in the document was a lot of spelling mistake. If you are a president you may perfectly write and speak your naitive Language.
