French has word formation resemblance with vietnamese so it's easy for him to speak. On the other hand vietnamese shares huge vocab with chinese so it' also easy, he just needs to rearrange words a little bit. About russian and english i hightly doubt that he can speak well but since french vocab and english vocab are similar so he can write well, russian i think he just learn through

Thọ Nguyễn . Yup I also thought these languages are easy so I started with English when I was 8, it took me 15 years, then French took me 2 years before giving up and finally, Chinese took another 5 years, and sadly, I haven’t reached his level in any languages. Any recommendation to improve?

@@thongoc8030 Mr. Ho studied by himself, no school, no money, no real home, working multiple jobs just for daily feed, trying to hide identity, survive foreign diseases and decades in jail. I don't think it's as that simple but it does show that you're a narrow-minded one who clearly hasn't experienced anything.

One of the most under-appreciated socialist leaders. Fought relentlessly against the French colonialists, the Vietnamese bourgeois class that exploited the poor and the American imperialists that didn't want to permit Vietnam its own non-capitalist road of development. I wish he had at least outlived the war. RIP Uncle Ho

@@trashman8080 well I think it's very telling how quickly and efficiently Vietnam handled the corona pandemic by placing the public health interests above economic considerations. Vietnam may have implemented some necessary market reforms for the time being, much like China, but it's such successes that show it has not simply gone down the capitalist road. In a capitalist country this would not have been possible (as the corona measures in Europe and America have shown).

@@adorno_gang37 well, like i said, not devout communist. More like... authoritarian. In a good way actually, most neccessary policies get implemented without pointless resistence. What most people don't understand is that Uncle Ho was not a communist at heart, he was a nationalist at heart. All he wanted was to free Vietnam from The french and other foreign invaders. But he knew very well he would not stand a chance without help from other countries, so he used Communism as a way to get the help his country needed to fight for his country.

actually, Ho Chi Minh is a communist at heart. Thanks to a thesis about ethnics and colonize of Vladimir Lenin, in which Lenin argued that different nations have different ways to develope the Communism and the Communism must love their country at first, Ho Chi Minh realized the Communism is the only way to liberate the Vietnamese and then, develop the country. In summarize, Ho Chi Minh is a Communist with nation love (because nation love always along with Communism), not the nationalist.

@@hoangphamduy8562 I disagree man. In theory Communism works and it has vast potential in helping the average worker, but in practice it has only subjugated the people even more. Communism gives way too much power to government, so much so that the people have no power whatsoever, it does exactly the opposite of what it is intended to do which is give power to the people. sean You don’t see any glimmering communist “state” (in a communist society there would not be any state, because it wouldn’t be needed) because the material conditions to have a communist society doesn’t exist yet, there still are enemies, like imperialism and many others that will and do fight against socialist countries. By now we can only have socialism (Cuba, China, Vietnam, DPR Korea, Laos), the transition to communism, to resist against imperialism, until the conditions to reach communism exist.

I'm so so so grateful that Ho Chi Minh and his regime did not allow France influence to get to our culture. Look at African countries, still being slaves and in shambles decades after. Viet Nam is on the rise, it takes time and it has been a very difficult journey, but we are free, and we are pure.

the question is to distinguish the communism theorized by marx and engels (perhaps updating it to the current contradictions of ultra financialized capitalism) and what in the name of communism have made dictators. it's like saying that since there were crusades, Christianity is not good. I have read the manifesto of the Communist party of Marx and I have never found words like gulag, repression, massacres (things that have happened at all latitudes and with all political beliefs). hence communism, understood as the revenge of the defeated in history, the marginalized, the poor, as an attempt to make justice triumph is something necessary. what must always be separated is a political creed and what is perpetrated by the elites simply to maintain power.

I personally convinced all he wanted is to liberate Vietnam from France colonialism and he desired the sincere independence, liberty, democracy for Vietnamese, he was and always believed in American idealism in freedom. However, he got no other choice but to get aid from Soviet Union and all communist nations, the next leader take advantage of him by using his history to visualise the legitimacy in order to gain their power and remain them until this day. Ho didn't want his body to be in the mausoleum.

Cardinal RG i'm sure everyone will believed in that way, looking back to the history, i always wonder why he used communism to gain independence, my grandpa said because the influence of communism was so strong, if you look at marx theory you would see marx alway said about the freedom, equality, liberty, no racism for poor people, and in Vietnam large population were poor farmers, then he thought the revolution could bring all modern value to Vietnam, but he no longer control his system, other leader copied land reform from china, Vietnam communist party controlled everything and not allowed for Ho to speak, they prohibit press, they dicided what they want behind "Ho order" . That's why you see Vietnam become the communist, they are in illusion they told the people that the inherited from Ho.

We welcome visitors from all countries, and we will treat you well when you are here. Sure, I'm not going to sugar coat it; we are still not a first-world country powerhouse, but we are no where near "dirt poor" or "shit on the streets." I myself grew up in the countryside and now work in the city, and never in my 30 years of living in my own country have I seen people just go outside and "shit on the streets." Welp, that’s positive thing for us to enjoy freedom and also if u say inteligence doesn’t equal good then ur wrong, Ho Chi Minh is actually a inteligence man and also one thing I have notice when anyone that tried to find negative thing about Ho Chi Minh is that they try to scrap around and finding the eviliest thing, the results? Nothing, that’s why many people are grateful to Ho Chi Minh and just like Pol Pot except Pol Pot is the opposite of Ho Chi Minh, instead of giving freedom, he did a genocide, punish people, working harder every single day without getting tired and we can’t find anything good about this guy, tbh in action
