Thats the genius of Divide. If you know the character then you get the subtle references but if you just put this song on in like a car with friends who dont know then its just a good song in general. Divide makes his songs mean something to both a casual listener and a fan, without pulling to far into 1 direction that would put it in a niche category. I just wanted to thank you for making this song. I first heard this on my way home from a doctors appointment where they had discovered several lesions on my liver. I had been suffering from severe itching on my hands and feet along with some elevated liver levels so I was really scared I had something seriously wrong with my liver which was exacerbated by my other issues. I didn't hear much of the song on my drive back from the doctors since I was so much in my own head and pretty terrified. The words that cut through my fear and made me feel so much better were, "hear me now, don't be so afraid." Along with what came after that. I had to listened to it again after that and I got pretty emotional as it's such a beautiful song with a beautiful message. It turned out that the lesions on my liver were benign and the increased liver numbers are from a syndrome which is also benign and beneficial. Can't remember what it was called. Still not sure what caused the itching but it went away. Again, thank you so much for making this song I heard it when I needed it most.❤

I cried without even realizing it, man. This is truly incredible. Motivational and uplifting for those who can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, and are afraid. Don't be so afraid.

Sounds like advice Iroh would actually give. Flawless masterpiece.

This song is so beautiful. It feels like every lyric in this song is Iroh telling Zuko that he'll be alright and that he controls his OWN destiny. Not Zhao. Not Azula. And most definitely not Ozai. It's just so beautiful. Keep up the hard work Divide Music!

Oh Uncle Iroh. You amazing, PERFECTLY written character. You are a light to all of us in the dark. One of the greatest characters in fictional history. Wise, kind, and brave. Truely the uncle we ALL want

This song had me both smiling and crying as such fond memories of Uncle Iroh surfaced from listening to this video. Thank you. Thank you so much for this wonderful song that has touched my heart in ways I didn't expect this day, or this week even.

(Sniff.) I miss Iroh so much. I love both your Avatar songs so very much and I am so glad you made them for two of the best people in the show. I can't give this enough praise. The music, lyrics, video, all fit our Uncle so well. (teardrop) I fucking miss him. I need these guys in my life again. Divide. You know them. You know these people so well. Thank you. Edited after second listen: I wept. Uncle Iroh is the best. And using his own words in the chorus was so right. Again, I cannot praise this enough.

I just saw the post made warning of this song. Wondering if we would like it. Music has power. It can lift us up, break us down, harden or soften us. Give us energy or calm us down. It can also make us feel as though the people we've lost are still standing behind us, giving us advice and always in our corner. I have no doubt that everyone here feels that you have honored Iroh perfectly. Never stop making music.

Brilliant tune here, a good reflection of Iroh as well. Also like the emphasis of getting back up after falling down. We all need that reminder nowadays. Hope you have a good day.

I love this song even though I'm just now finding out about it. Uncle Iroh was wise and I really love him. I miss this show a lot but as Uncle Iroh would say,"All good things eventually have to come to an end."

Divide every time you release a new song I'm just blown away. Your music is phenomenal. Your ability to catch a certain aspect of a character then turn it into a song is astonishing. Keep being awesome!

Man I love Iroh, and this song is just the reason why. He’s such an amazing character and I don’t think ATLA would be as good as it is without him.
