Uncle Lee . You have done a great service to the KZbin public ! When credit is due I , give credit fully . Thank you for introducing me to river cruise , sky mirror and so many other things ! I really appreciate it all. My ticket has been booked for Malaysia . Many thanks and a happy Gregorian new year to you

Thanks for the compliments. Very much appreciated and you are very welcome to Malaysia. As for Sky Mirror, do check with 9 island agency when is the best time to go to take Sky Mirror photos…they will need to look at the tides, sea level to determine when photos are possible… there are days when the tides are high and sea level high that photos are not possible… just want to make sure you are not disappointed coming from far away. And yes, happy new year to you too.

Last month I was in Teluk Intan for a day/night, actually it was a stopover from Penang > Teluk Kurau > Bagan Lipas > Teluk Intan > KL , needed a rest after a long drive. Stayed in Rivertel. I found that Teluk Intan was so boring, we walked the Pasar Malam for 10 minutes then headed to Han Cheng for seafood dinner. Bloody hell the restaurant was fully booked for a wedding dinner. We ended up eating McDonald, not bad, quarter pounder burger is still nice. Next morning, check out early and rush to KL (a more civilized place). [In Teluk Kurau bought salt eggs, in Bagan Lipas bought raw prawn keropok]. TQ Uncle Lee, now I know that Telok Intan is not that boring.
@UncleLeeAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Teluk Intan is not boring but 3/4 nights will be too long… 2D/1N will probably be just nice… and I am still thinking about the 6pm river cruise! If it’s dry season (unlike now)… there’s also a cruise on the river to watch firefly… won’t have firefly on rainy season. Thank you for watching 🙏

Hope you can make it there… however, be very careful where you are going because of heavy rain and landslides.. Happened in Batang Kali 2 days ago and claimed many lives. Also happened in Raub today… so stay clear of hill slopes, forest reserves, rivers etc for the moment. And stay safe and welcome to Malaysia.

Teluk Intan lodging all the while is never cheap or on promotion as I know. Good is expensive. OK only also expensive. Cheap is really rundown and not clean.

Uncle Lee, thank you for your efforts in making the food review in Teluk Intan. After seeing your sharing, I purposely made a trip to taste the rojak in Teluk Intan. Unfortunately, the taste is not like what your wife said. Her food reviews many times are not true and give an impression that she likes to "eat" anything and also says it's good. 👄 sometimes give 3 likes, including her leg. I feel ridiculous. The rojak tasted no good at all! Disappointed. Anyway, your review is trustworthy and has a good sense of taste...
@UncleLeeAdventures8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. She and me have different tastebuds. I like my food stronger in taste but she loves it when it’s “tasteless” (to me - with hardly any salt and sugar!). We sometimes argue and cannot come to agreement 🤣 but she always win! 😂 If you like fruit rojak, the best ones I ever tried: 1) Bukit Mertajam - Rojak Orang Hitam Putih (I have a Penang episode on this) 👇 kzbin.info/www/bejne/npvEgYeEi8-FoMksi=SyrLt6nGPnk54moH 2) Bandar Puteri Puchong roadside stall - close to Bake With Yen (Saturday & Sunday only) 3) Ampang Fishball Restaurant 安邦西刀魚丸粉 - just steps away from this very delicious fishball restaurant (if I remember correctly it’s directly in front of a Hakka noodle restaurant - you can skip the Hakka noodles, nothing spectacular). Do enjoy 🤤 and thanks for watching 🙏
