An impeccable episode. This was cinema level quality. So nostalgic too. The shots were literally what you’d see in the movie theatre, and the visual effects on certain characters as well were mind blowing. Hearing the off brand soda song in the Kroger was amazing beyond words. Seeing Father John (my favorite character) again too made me so happy. I can’t wait to see where this goes, I’d even assert that this is the best episode yet!! Thank you Jake for creating this and keeping it going. You are truly talented!!!! JUMP ON IT PS: yes it was also absolutely worth the wait!!!! I recall telling people in the comments on the last one that because of the time passing that the next episode would be better than ever- and this has proven me right!!!! :D

Love it, the moon emblazoning on the door to become a portal had me roaring! I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Shrek's refusal is basically the 'Chekhov's gun' or whatever that's gonna be subverted later. Also, the "Shrek" is great. Pairs nicely with the 'super-realistic' art direction of Season 2's Samsonite model. It looks a lot like he's made of clay.
