I know you're probably not serious about getting a bird more just having fun, but don't buy a big bird just to have one; they aren't easy to take care of properly. Before getting any pet you should do some research on how to properly take of them and give them a happy life. A big bird like a parrot requires quite a bit of space to live in, at minimum a small room, but really should be able to roam the house part of the time. They also require a special diet and don't show signs of illness when they are sick, so you have to keep a good eye on them. Also, they are a lot louder than you would think.

Thank you curly and Martin I needed to hear this I firmly believe God and Jesus was speaking to me through y’all about my feeling my guilty over having to call police to escort my son whose addicted to drugs (mainly opiates drs given him over his cancer but he started injections to himself instead of taking it in the pill form drs have him but he was doing it right in front of me I just couldn’t take it no more he blatantly was doing it right in front of me all the fighting yelling but it’s winter in Canada so cold -47 and I’m worried if he’s outside or I’m hoping he’s on a friends couch at least but I wonder is he eating but he wouldn’t want help I was telling him where to go for help but he refused it and I felt like I was just enabling him at this point but as his mother I’m feeling guilty did I do the right thing but I’ve really done everything I can do for him anyways I really needed to hear y’all talking at the end here THANK YALL I NEEDED to hear this !!!
