💬Plot summary:
Fan Xian grew up in a small town by the sea with his grandmother, following a sudden visit of a poison master, his peaceful life quickly morph into one filled with danger and hardship. The best drama rn. All characters ere very interesting especially the King, Uncle Wuzhu and Ching Peng. They are mysterious man with cruelity yet have soft spot for fan Xian. The funny thing is the king always in messy hair and cloth...I dont know why I cant hate him lol

I like it. It is fun to watch. Got some interest character, but I read Chinese netizens critized the show for plagiarizing content from the fantasy novel series The Twelve Kingdoms (1992) written by Japanese novelist Fuyumi Ono. So I don't think it is setting new standards.

Since u asked. ⚠️ Spoiler alert! I heard that he's not blind but he's got lazer eyes 👀 like cyclops in x-men. There's a part after they enter the capital and Fan Xian hangs up a red lamp as a sign that he wants to meet up. Then he asks Wu Zhu how he can tell the color of the lamp but Uncle answers that he can't explain it.
