Another good lesson Mark. As a "Baptist Preacher" I can tell whoever wrote this song never was a Baptist Preacher because they wouldn't have wrote the lyrics they "wouldn't have to work." The congregation will keep you strung out 7 days a week (on top of your normal work). I've even had to cut short a vacation to come back to work, to which my son-in-law noted, "you really don't get a vacation, do you." So yes, preachers do work more than 3 hours a week :)

I just bought a shovel as my first 3 string and since the action is high on those and you don't have frets per se, do you just use pressure on your fingers on the strings w/o the slide?

I have made multiple attempts to leave a tip (on different computers) and it will let me put the tip amount in and then it throws me to a PayPal browser update page.
