Those orange flowers are called jewel weed's. We use to touch the seeds after orange flowers seeded. They are good weeds and my granmaw back in the day make a salve kill poison ivy. Miss those Peaceful days. Thank you sharing your adventures with helping stop flooding area's.

Those little orange flowers are jewelweed and the old remedy for poison ivy. It grows close to poison ivy and I hope you are not allergic to it. My grandmother would make jewelweed soap and an ointment suave.

Hi Jen and Kim. Watching you two struggling with those huge tree branches reminded me to see if you have heard of company called LogOx. It's a piece of hand held equipment to assist with moving or turning logs. The company claim 93% improvement on backs. It is an American company and I believe widely available with you. Video on line. No idea if it really works, but might be worth a go before you put too much strain on your backs. Sorry I can't fund it for you but maybe they would sponsor you. Regards Jackie
