I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Canadian here. I'm sure I speak for all Canadians when I say we are sorry for smoking you folk the way we are. We're seriously working on mitigating the disturbing air quality. We are winning, so don't lose hope. Let me say thanks post 10 on behalf of Canada's national emblem, the Beaver. It may be worth posting "no beavers were harmed in the making of these videos". All hail the Culvert King, post 10.

Ha! This is right up the road from me. I mean literally within 3/4 mile. The rail line on the other side of the pond was diverted and raised years ago (about 1/2 mile south of there) because it kept flooding out and the old rail bed is great for walking and seeing lots of wildlife. Beavers, herons, osprey etc. Keep up the good work and keep on the state's butt about helping to protect the beavers.

Thank you for being an advocate for the beavers. It is important to remember the animals play an important role in the ecosystem.
@oldtimefarmboy617
@oldtimefarmboy617 11 ай бұрын
And when there are more beavers than the ecosystem can handle they can cause a lot of damage to same. Then with all of the damage they cause they will lose their food source. Then they will start to die from starvation and disease. There population will decline well below optimal population. Then they will have to struggle to recoup and replenish their numbers. That is the way nature works unless people intervene to keep their population at healthy numbers. But because some people hate humans, they would rather see all the pain, suffering, and death that overpopulation causes.

Post lived in the PNW for almost 50 years now. Not until a few years ago did we experience the deterioration of air quality due to WA States own wildfires. About two months of two summers. Usually have the winds blowing to our advantage. Have to say it was dreadful! Knock on wood, hopeful none this year. 🌲🌲🔥🔥🌬️🌬️ It was so thick you could smell it and to breathe it in just awful. I’m Canadian and we are doing everything we can about the fires. Our wilderness is huge compared to the US and we have imported firefighters from your country, Mexico, South Africa and Australia to help us fight the fires. They are burning in four provinces, British Columbia, Alberta, my province Ontario and Quebec. The smoke today, June 28th, was awful. Climate change is making these fire seasons start earlier and burn fiercer and hotter. Rain is on the way for Friday, but it’s not going where it’s really needed. 🇨🇦

Last year it was reported that we had record breaking temperatures in the UK. Just been reported this week (a year later), that those temperature recordings were taken on a run way, just after 3 jet fighter planes had landed. They are lying. They have halved the temperature recording stations in the UK and have only left those on runways and in other urban areas.

@bluerendar2194
@bluerendar2194 11 ай бұрын
@@ThunderTheBlackShadowKitty This year has both been warm, but more importantly, incredibly dry all season. Spring usually has plenty of rain, but in all of April, we only had maybe one proper rainstorm, and one-and-a-half in May. June has had a few thundershowers near the end, which honestly probably ended up doing more harm than good with the lightning. I'd roughly guess previous years average about 3x this amount of rain. Forestry services are just way overwhelmed with more and larger fires than usually happen. I believe the usual strategy is to supress and wait for wetter weather, which has worked for our climate in the past, but not this year.

Your right , wildfires in the West are way to common. We are normally the ones sending smoke Canada's way, but this year it has been the opposite. I live in Colorado and there are wildfires every year. If we are not getting smoke from a wildfire here we have smoke coming from another state like California or Arizona. But we have had some good rain this year so hopefully we won't get quite as many wildfires this year!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for less wildfires here in Colorado and all of the states near us.
