Unconditionally {John x Sherlock}

I feel like this is the perfect portrayal of Holmes' love of Watson. I so often see headcanons, fan theories, and other countless things such as fanfiction that describe Watson's "one-Sided" love of Sherlock, but I seldom ever see the reverse of it. In my eyes, Holmes loves him just as much- likely more.

I think that because of everything that happens to Sherlock, he either doesn’t care or loves someone with all of his heart, and so Sherlock loves John with all of his heart, and it’s heartbreaking to see that John doesn’t see him in the same way. He may, but in the Canon, it shows John not seeing him that way, but Sherlock does see him that way. And that’s what’s so heartbreaking to me about this show 💔💔 Xx

In my eyes it's always the reverse. I personally believe that Sherlock loves John but doesn't dare to tell him or he's just simply not good at expressing feelings, or he might think that "sentiment is a chemical defect found in the losing side", as he told Irene, or he's just generally confused about his feelings - but he loves John. Look at how he NEVER denies people saying they are a couple while John does it every time. Look at S3E3 beside the plane. "Sherlock is actually a girl's name." (lol I cried so hard at that line) My theories are 1.he wants somebody to be named "Sherlock Watson" even if he couldn't; 2.he believed he was about to die, so he wanted John to remember him always; 3.he wanted to know that John would some day say the words "Sherlock, I love you" even if it's not to him. But John, I think, loves Mary more and doesn't see Sherlock as anything else than a best friend and partner and sometimes annoying flatmate. It's always Sherlock.

over these years, all these years, especially s3 and s4, we can all see Sherlock showing "I'll love you unconditionally no matter what" through his actions. how he and John (spoiler ahead!) raised Rosie at 221B after (super spoiler ahead!!!) Mary died is just... it's the sweetest thing ever. by the way, who else cried at John and Mary's wedding? i absolutely did. look at how much Sherlock had done, that speech, the violin, even teaching John to dance (mentioned by the two of them to Mary, btw)... he did all of those just to make John happy. and remember what he said to that captain at the wedding? "I may as well die, then, killed by my uniform." "But not at John's wedding." not at John's wedding. how bitter and sweet these words are.

because of the placement of the watermark and the quality of the clips (and lack of coloring effects?), before i clicked, when I only saw the thumbnail, I had not expected such a good vid with amazing beat matching plus very carefully placed clips for each lyric and for capturing exclusively Sherlock's point of view. Well actually, I made this on an old computer with multiple movie editors (of which I forget now) but iMovie being one of them. But now that I have a new Mac computer, I've been using Final Cut Pro and the newer version of iMovie. I wasn't expecting this video to capture so much of Sherlock's emotions but I guess it just did! Personally, I think the reason why Sherlock's love seems so unusual is because John is the one who made me realize how lonely I have been. I think they are in a so-called co-dependent relationship. Excuse the rant... but I had to. You know what, they need to stop getting straight actors to play LGBTQ roles and then using the fact the actors aren't okay with playing actual gay roles as an excuse to not give us actual representation. They should have hired LGBTQ actors who would be okay with showing actual representation instead of just queerbaiting us with straight actors and then using the excuse "oh we would give you this couple that we queerbaited you with but unfortunately the actors are not okay with more than this". They way they did this with supernatural, merlin, once upon a time and sooo many others that I've lost count at this point. So sick of this bs, it's not that difficult a concept to give representation plus that allows for farrr more ideas to explore and it's not that difficult of an issue to resolve. They act like it's the end of the world if they bother lifting one finger to show people being their true selves if they aren't heterosexual or on the gender binary.
