Unconventional Sewing Notions from Harbor Freight?

I went to Harbor Freight to find some stuff for my sewing room, I ended up buying 4 things for $17.73 before tax. If I missed any great things from Harbor Freight please list them in the comments, we are all here to help each other!
I am not a professional videographer so if you have suggestions how I can make better videos PLEASE help me out by pointing out what I can do better in future videos!

I love it!!!! I’ve already gone to HF to get a few supplies. Something else that would be great to get is the magnetic bar. I have this on a counter front next to my table. I throw my scissors, pins, and anything else that will stick on it while I’m sewing.

I’ve done programs for local guilds on this topic. The dollar store and big box hardware stores are also good sources for quilting tools like: - masking tape - small tape measure with clip to carry in my purse - utility knife

Fyi...the magnetic pin holder will magnetize forever all the pins, and your scissors, too.

They sell a demagnetizer thing too. Might be useful even without that particular holder

I have the drywall up and painted, and the wood stained and sealed, but I am taking a break from renovating so I can do some sewing. I'll start it back up this fall/winter when the weather turns, or if I get a minute when I have nothing else going on

I read somewhere that you can use steel wool to sharpen your pins and needles instead of buying new ones. Has anyone else tried this?

Yes I have heard this, II need to grab some and try to sharpen some pins. My pins are about as sharp as butter knives lol. The little strawberry that's attached to the tomato pincushions are for sharpening needles, but for some reason I always loose mine 🙃

If you have a computerized sewing machine, keep all magnets far away to prevent damage to the components!
