This was so helpful. I was really quite outrageous when I was young and that is in my heart. It caused a lot of embarrassment to others and it was literally beaten out of me. I then spent the rest of my life being quiet and just trying to fit in. It's now time to be me again. Just hoping I don't get rejected again. TY.

Thank you Dr Demartini. I have spent most of my life loving others first before myself until a relationship breakup 2 yrs ago. From discussions with friends and reflection post breakup, it was evident I did not put myself first before anything else. But that is changing and I am learning to find myself again, heal myself and love myself little by little knowing I deserve more. .

Thanks for sharing this. About a month ago I was introduced to your book, The Values Factor, by my coach. This is one of the first times in my life that I have put myself first (wholly) and taken care. I can't thank you enough for your work. The first time I looked at that list of values it was like a breath of fresh air, and life has felt simpler and more fulfilling since. Again, Thankyou.

You will have a lot of work, because there are many many people that have been obligated by force or different type of relationships to conform to values that are not there own be it because they have had to take jobs to survive or they have had to conform to other people, culture, religion around them and it isn´t that easy to get away, many people get to be 50 years old and more and they are still living by the values imposed on them from the outside world.

I've only listen to a few of your videos but I think they're so honest, down to earth, and really truthful. By truthful, I meant truth, down the to core that makes sense with logic. Not just motivations that I do found very short lived & again, something I can't live by because it's really is only a one-side-ness! Your strategies/theories made sense to me & that everything needs 'balance' -- that is totally my model & I think this is the missing link I'm looking for. Thank you!!! (I can't believe this channel doesn't have more subscriber, perhaps part of human nature is still pursuing after illusions rather than to seek...truth)

I have a family business . My older brother is the owner and our leader . I am the next to assume position . My whole adult life since I was 18 I’ve been being trained for this next step . My true values are health , being physically fit and being in shape . Also a clear mind and understand I also seek with proper dieting . I have a relationship I’m from USA she lives in phillipines at moment . I am handling work .... I am handling relationship . But when I come home at night or on my day off .. I’m not inspired to achieve my personal goals . I feel drained so to say and somewhat resentful of returning . I cannot tell if my daily life I’m living is not truly for me and not my highest values or if I’m just lazy , and co dependent . I brain seems to crave caffeine . To achieve my daily task . I can’t tell if the problem is within me or am I not aligned . You are one of the top 3 mentors in my life dr. De martini ! These KZbin videos do not give the proper credit to your name . I know your story and millions you’ve inspired .. before this pandemic and and virtual age you were doing the work . You lessons I hold to my life . Thank you for all you do . I’ll figure out my side . But your methods seem to make all the sense to me , makes me question am I operating off my highest values ... although I’m not fulfilled , my path leads me to business ownership and my highest achievements of revenues so i almost feel obligated to comply ... am I missing the big picture and I must shift my values or am I really not aligned ? I wonder ? Lol ok well thank you sir .. your life works and the leadership you provide are truly inspiring . Thank you 👍

I'm not sure I get it or maybe I do. It's just not so easy to reclaim those values that have been pushed back. And the injected/not-so-genuine values aren't that awful I guess. If I substitute perceived mistakes to injected values, I think I could work something out with the method.
