Lassi is a popular traditional dahi (yogurt)-based drink that originated in the Indian Subcontinent. Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit. Namkeen (salty) lassi is similar to doodh, while sweet and mango lassi are like milkshakes recipe at home as its easy and a quick recipe i tried to explain everything step by step so you can understand that better.

This is hands down the BEST Mango lassi recipe ever, and one I will keep for life! Thanks a million for sharing !😊🙏Note to everyone: His measurements are definitely on point - even the sugar. I thought it would be too sweet and initially reduced it substantially but ended up adding it as he said - the sugar amount is perfect. I did not make the amount made in this video but divided his recipe by 6 to make about 450ml of lassi. I also used almond milk instead of full cream milk as thats all I had in the fridge. Still had a beautiful thick texture and incredible authentic lassi taste.

I’ve been making this for many years ( with whole ripe mangoes and recently from purée- as i live in Europe) instead of milk I add almond or coconut milk and brown cane sugar much less in quantity 😊 and it tastes better than restaurants. To make it healthier you can put honey 🍯 instead of sugar.

Thanks for the precise information, however I did try it exactly with the same ingredients although halved the quantity and measurement. The thickness and consistency was spot on but for me it was way too sweet. I think I will add 4 table spoon of sugar instead of 7.5 next time.. Ps I also had some frozen mango chunks which I added to enhance the flavour.
