¡Hola Henry! Wow, that is really cool to know you have a personal connection to Juigalpa. A couple of our BLT superfans have a Juigalpa connection it appears! Do you have many memories of it? It would interesting to know how much it has changed over the years.

There are already new bridges in Nicaragua that connect the Wiwili bridge with the Caribbean side and the other new bridge in Wawa Boom, which will be completed in September. So you can now travel by land to other very beautiful regions to visit.

Hi Francisco, thanks for sharing this information. The Caribbean side was the one area that we regret not seeing more of. We are glad to hear that it is easier to travel around now. Thanks for watching!

Great video guys, that festival looked very funny. I went to that zoo in 2014 and it's definitely my favorite part of the city, i've seen that many things have changed... Didn't you go to the local museum? You can find the dead bodies of bizarre animals and humans with bad genetic formation there. There's also El Mirador of Juigalpa where you can watch a panoramic view from all the city. There's also a legend of a golden lizard who guides you to a hidden treasure, hidden by the indigenous people of that land many centuries ago. I always watch your videos, but i never comment cause' i don't know what to say about foreign countries. I hope you're doing it great.

Hola @Heyner Rivera ✌🏻🤠 Loved your comment... it got me thinking... you reference places that only a local would know -- Are you Chontaleño? Been to that museum, lots of interesting things... I remember a two-headed calf and loved the precolombian stone-carved gods. Is the mirador you talk about "Palo Solo"?? Overlooking the Cordillera Amerrisque mountain range??? Anywho, loved reading your comment -- Saludos cordiales a vos y a tu familia desde Miami ✌🏻😎

@@ejnava01 Hi Ejnava01, i'm not from Chontales, but i used to travel around Nicaragua when i was in elementary school and in high school (field trips), my school used to travel to non common places of the country because they were way cheaper than the typical touristic zones of Nicaragua. In all the trips that i made i always tried to talk with the locals and learn as much as i could from them and their live stories/legends/miths etc. Also i was lucky enough to always have extremely competitive tour guides who fill my head with their ancestral knowledge. I don't remember the name of the Mirador, but i think that it's actually the same that you mentioned in your comment.

Jango!! It has been a while since we've heard from you and we were starting to get worried, we hope all is well with you. Oh what a shame that we didn't go to the local museum, that sounds really fascinating! We didn't go to the mirador either and it would have been good to visit. We should have looked harder for that golden lizard, what a cool legend!😜 Thanks for watching! - Jon

OMG😲 Such an interesting vid... It brought back some memories, although Juigalpa seems so much different... I remember seeing the wooden structures for the rodeos from the outside (we were NEVER allowed to partake in any of it). It was near a large, well-known private school (San Francisco). What I DID IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED was la Catedral 😍 Some years we spent Christmas with my Grandma and we'd go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve (misa del niño dios) it was soooo special for us coming from Managua. My abuelitos moved to Juigalpa from El Rama (towards the Caribbean coast) where my Grandpa (Portuguese descendant) owned a s$%& ton of land that the British had their eye on... Anyway, GREAT VID as always... THE FOOD LOOKED great!!! That cerdo asado and Jay's churrasco 👍🏻🤠 Thank you guys for your awesome #Nicaragua 🔵⚪🔵 vids, always highlighting our culture ✌🏻😎

Hey Edward! We can understand why you weren't allowed to partake in the rodeo activities, it was pretty crazy! Thank you for sharing your memories of Juigalpa with us, they sound very special. The cathedral was really big. We never got out to La Rama, but it is on the bucket list for next time! Thanks as always for watching and sharing your fascinating perspectives!🙏🙏 -Jon
