I put all my dirty jewelry in the Ugly Box. I make a Faraday cage and put multiple pieces at a time. The finish with a light jewelers rogue polish. They come out new looking. Nice hunt. GL&HH Matt

The Marking of ALE is for Pandora which is renowned for their fine silver (I’m surprised you didn’t recognize that), unfortunately your buddy’s ring is a gold plated junker with a CZ. I found the exact same ring last summer. The 10k pendant with ice is nice, congrats on another two gold hunt.

At 15:00 the rose gold ring with the stones ... It's a Pandora ring, I've found the same one :) Pandora's "rose gold" isn't. It's a plating on top of a crap low percentage silver / copper alloy. Sells for $50 to $100 new.

They lowered Toledo Bend Lake suddenly to work on the dam. I was finding incredible gold in old swimming holes...then when I hit the next one there was a guy there with a 3000 dollar detector bragging about making thousands of dollars in rings. I drove a long way to get to this spot. He left and all I found was the silver rings he didn`t dig. I took a break and went to a picnic table....he was gone....and he had left probably 40 grams of gold rings and necklaces, mostly 10K all covered in sand, sitting on the table. WOOSH I was gone with the loot!

I have one. The results I’ve gotten are mostly poor. The amount of cleaning that is required for something that is in saltwater or dirt for decades or centuries is different than the cleaning that is required of jewelry with ordinary use.
