The ring has a U with an arrow through it. Which is the hallmark for Uncas silver.

Sometime show us how you clean up your finds...what you use to do it and so on. That would be great for those of us who don’t know how to clean our finds. Thanks!

You are right usually if it’s not a really shiny diamond they put something highly polished underneath the diamond. If you have a flawless diamond and it’s cut properly and it’s set up off the finger then they do leave it open underneath the diamond because it will shine brighter and more brilliant this way

My name is Ken Tuck, and I just happened to catch your You Tube channel. Wow, you are "da bomb" of treasure hunting. Love your low-key humor! Were you a stand-up comedian at some point? I'm in Louisville, KY, and have been metal detecting since 1976. I started with a "BFO" "Beat Frequency Oscillator"...Meh! To continue... I love your passion for the sport, it's contagious! Your information about "how and where" and "thinking outside the box" are things newbies need to know! Keep up the great videos. I truly appreciate them!

Nice finds mate. Especially the ring and the pendant with the blue stone. Man that beach is crazy. I cant help but wonder why the local gov in that area hasnt collected all of that glass for recycling. This is my new channel for detecting only. My other channel Willy Wise is now only for my music.

Try putting the ring in an ultrasonic cleaner. The ultrasonic wave action gets in all the nooks and crannies; could get the grit from around the stone.

From what I’ve learned…. Those holes behind a stone do not mean they are a “real” gemstone. The holes are there for the purpose of allowing more light thru the Stone and for cleaning behind the stone.

I think you need to wear gloves out there, and/or hazmat suit! Be careful out there! Excellent video! I think I would have tried a round of electrolysis with that ring, that way the stone would not fall out. Like someone said below, those diamond testers are really cheap now!

first i'd do the foil spit test if it smells like rotten eggs you got silver see if you can clean up around the stone more hole in the back;s a good sign if you don't have a diamond tester once you clean up the stone some you can breath on it like your cleaning your glasses . if it goes away fast you might have a good one there :) might be white gold too. for sure it's pretty old :)

It took a few videos to finally subscribe. Return the favor , it's free and also inspiring. I've been shooting videos just about a couple years now . I've been lucky in the silver and gold arena . Yes Adele should start a channel. I'm sure with her personality and experience in mudlarking she would be great entertainment. Good luck from central California. Big Mex Detects.
