Nice to see a brake job done properly. It's not that difficult, yet many auto shops just do a "pad slap" changing the pads but not performing any maintenance on the calipers (grease etc). Also for the home mechanic, I find it cheaper to buy brake cleaner in 4 or 5 litre drums, and using a brake cleaner compatible pump dispenser, as opposed to aerosol cans as you go through quite a lot. Good job Will. 👏

Liked that you stressed the rust jacking under the shims and around the guide pin rubbers and lubed them after cleaning to slow down rerusting. I use a 3 in. wire wheel on a die grinder for the caliper mount cleaning and cut the handle off a plumbers copper brush mounted in my drill to clean the guide pin holes {they now sell these type brushes for brake work}. I do put just a touch of lube on the pad ears otherwise your job and mine are exactly alike.

hi i have a question, if you have a wharped rotor does the brake pulsate everytime you depress the brake, mine pulsate on and off ,sometime it pulsate sometime not. pls help
