Sorry when he says at 47:30 that the assination of William of Orange was the cause for the thirty year war, that is totally wrong. It was because Fredrick IV of the Pfalz and his wife Elizabeth Stuart took the Bohemian crown, which rightfully belonged to Emporer Ferdinand II that started the thirty year war. The bit with the Dutch and the Spanish was the eighty years war,

I'm wondering why after lifting the helmet out of the mud he did NOT later show us what it looked like after the mud had been washed off of it. It was probably placed there for the show. AND, if he does not respond to these doubts of it being found there and not planted there, then that means it was WAS planted there to fool us.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

The one thing I have noticed more than anything else is the almost bareness of fish each time you get into the sea? Apart from the odd tiny one and the shark and of course the fish you caught while using a rod and line I couldn't see any others ? It just goes to prove just how over fishing is doing to our beautiful world 🌎

Have a look at the story of Mrs. Wilson, 1890 (something I think think) ,who, stranded on Lizard Island, north east of Cooktown, with 2 kids while her seaman husband was off, attempted to escape, under pressure from indigenous people who had an annual religious ceremony there. She launched a water tank, square riveted corner joins, dry inside, as a boat with her 2 kids. They were eventually stumbled upon at sea, apparently with 300 or to MM of water inside, long dead.

I just don’t get why we can retain the material if we’ve found it like we all live here why does the land have to be guarded as if they possess everything what even makes that so in the first place people should be able to travel and enjoy whatever it is they find just because the country is developed on a specific piece of land shouldn’t mean they retain all material people should be okay with sharing its as if there’s not enough to go around or something 😕
