I'm in SA and didn't hear about that- how awful. I'm not sure that I would do that job without having at least basic car repair skills, It's not safe for anyone to have to change a tyre and not know how to do it- shouldn't this be part of the test? My teenage daughters know how to change a tyre, It's simply not safe to rely on the "kindness of strangers". I can't imagine how I would feel being that driver who was dependent on the passenger to change the flat on the side of the freeway- it's an incredibly dangerous thing to do even in daylight, have been many deaths occurred from this. That's a big millstone of guilt hanging around that Uber driver's neck forever- they caused that death. I would think that as a 'professional' driver, changing your own tyre with appropriate lights and hi vis clothing is the very minimum you can do for your passengers rather than them risking their lives for your ineptitude. I'm feeling pretty angry now, that young guy should not have been in that situation at all. The Uber driver should have called a second car for the client and then the RAA or WA Roads equivalent service truck for the stranded Uber driver. Common sense, y'know? My great sympathy to the young man's family and I hope that particular Uber driver rethinks their career choice, because they are definitely not fit for the job. Shameful series of events. 😢

It's always interesting to observe the hierarchy or dynamic of these groups. It's always the guy riding shotgun next to the driver thats the mediator trying to find a common ground between his friends and the driver. Then you've got that quiet dude sitting bitch in the backseat that's just along for the ride or whatever. And its always the two outer guys in the back just raising hell doing everything a passenger isn't supposed to do.

@@tellmestraight With alcohol being FAR more harmful than cannabis; but hey, society loves to put them on an equal playingfield. Ah, alcohol, the only drug that requires an explanation when you don't want to use with a group. Lmao. I am not saying that cannabis is 110% safe, but with the chaos and destruction caused by alcohol, it is lightyears more benign than alcohol could ever hope to be. Alcohol hasn't been used as 'medicine' since the 1800s; no medicinal value along with high physical and mental addictive potential should warrant it being a Schedule 1 Drug (meaning; no medicinal value with high levels of abuse) but the government is just making too much damn money to let that happen. They have too much power leaving it ass-backwards, with cannabis on schedule 1, and METHAMPHETAMINE (prescribed under brand name Desoxyn) is better for the American people. Yup. Makes total sense. Keep living in your fairytale land, guy.

@@jackk5878 We all need to justify our actions and beliefs. I do not have 100% certainty as to what is right in any area of life and I do not think anyone does. I only know the personal effects I have experienced with marijuana and alcohol and they both have had deleterious to me. It is not important which one is worse. I must be honest that I have no personal experience nor do any of my friends with the claimed health benefits of marijuana. So I do not speak on that. If this is fairytale land then so be it. I am not under the effects of these drugs anyone. In my experience, people under the effects of these drugs (for whatever reason) are in a slight or an extensive "nightmaretale" land.
