🚨 Damo is akin to a 16 bit final boss. Doesn’t talk a lot but when he does it’s gold & ppl listen. I’m loving this new format, got the 🎧 on when I’m walking. Sh”T hot boys!

Fantastic Podcast Korda TTP , Damo's ethics are outstanding and so on the point . Well done Adam chewing the fat with everyone removed your host title and was an outstanding debate between great anglers and Spooner ( Joking Spoons you rock fella ) . Can't wait for more . Normally I listen to podcasts driving trucks round the UK but this Korda podcast I HAVE to watch . Steve M

Question! So a point was made on stiff hook links that it’s super important to reset but for the likes of Simon Crow who never casts out anything but a subtle hooklike and yet catches a shed load of fish, how does that work?
@Spoons-iy3zpАй бұрын
A good point, Crowy certainly knows how to catch em! Other rigs will always work as they always have but we always feel more confident with a stiffer hooklink due to the resetting properties

Question - I've got back into carp fishing after nearly 20 years away from it and at times I can find myself going down the rabbit hole with regards to rigs, bait and the latest gear etc as there is so much information available at click of a button. What would you say the DO's and DONT's are for someone like myself??? Really enjoying the podcasts 👌🏻 great stuff

Question When fishing a lake with a water in flow how close to the running water do I fish ? Do you take into consideration temp of the water coming in.
@deanbartram1297Ай бұрын
When we hear you say 'rods are clipped up' to get back on the spots for when you get back from dinner, toilet etc, is this wrapped up to the wraps you are fishing or clipped up before you bring it in.
@damianclarke3854Ай бұрын
Always wound in wrapped up then clipped, depending on your line and the stretch it’s always important to do that!

To be fair, fairbrass did say it was a revelation and as good as when the hair rig first came about. That whole video was all about and leading to the shot on the rig and the prototype korda then brought out on the back of it!

Question, If it’s tough going for a bite, you feel the location is right, what’s the first thing you would change and why?? Hookabit? Colour? The rig itself or zigs maybe??

@grahameread3201Ай бұрын
I love my bait boat as casting & spodding is just annoying & time consuming. The chances of cracking off a spomb are way higher than putting out your bait by boat. It’s a stealth way of fishing.

Q for the team. Fishing a small estate lake. 20-30 carp all over 30lb. Lake bed is covered in silk weed, which moves with undertow. Fish feed in the silk weed. Ultra sensitive fish that ignore pop ups. So whilst there’s no perfect solution- what would be your rig choice. A bag would seem good- but is soon covered. A raked spot is soon re covered- and the fish will avoid a disturbed area anyway. Any prebaiting results in fat coots and mallards. Any of you guys experienced this? What was your solution?

I stick to what works for me i get going stiff but we are conditioning the carp to deal with these if everyone is using the same stiff boom as with the adding of glugs and other liquids the carp will eventually avoid these types of spots as it will become associated with danger in my mind but that said adding liquids works just I don't tend to add much if any I want my bait to look like its been there a while to make the carp feel it's safe to feed off

I really enjoy fishing but you guys are giving me the impression that if the fish is not massive then it means nothing. Are you making fishing better or are Korda creating a divide. Think about it lads.
@damianclarke3854Ай бұрын
I can only speak for myself, I’ve been carp fishing for 40 years. I’ve been targeting ‘big carp’ since I was 18, caught my first 30 then my first 40 when I was 19. I only fish lakes with very large carp. It’s not divisive, it’s the reason I go! We have all been through the journey of catching singles, doubles then twenties and so on. I’ve been very fortunate to have targeted and caught carp over 90lbs because I have set my stall out to do so. We’re not going stop talking about it because that’s what we’re passionate about. Spooner loves catching carp of any size, but we all aspire to catching the biggest in any of the lakes we fish as do probably 99% of anglers. It might be the pond down the road with a 19 pounder in it. The tactics are the same and so is the buzz for the guy who catches it and it’s a PB. Long may that continue….!
@MattMayneАй бұрын
I watched the challenge Adam did last night. You go on about fish safety and welfare whilst on the bank in every podcast or video. But it looks to me that Adam carried the fish up the steps to the top bank for video and stills. Is that really a safe practice, to me that is bad practice and should be stopped especially in a video thousands are going to watch. I see it so many times in other videos anglers carrying carp in slings away from the water just cause it looks better on film. Come on Korda make a stance and stop this dangerous practice.
@adamreed882920 күн бұрын
Hi Matt, no fish were carried up any steps in that video? all the video and photos took place just right of the swim.
