There is no upgrade, there is only a 120 gathering drone for now.

I also made one golden with two purple stat

Its a higher % to craft gold on drones than it is on armor or weapons.

I actually had a ton of luck making crafting drone parts. All highest level. Got super lucky and majority of them where gold and even had purple stats for battery time and gathering range and the drone still slow and dumb as hell and keeps telling me gathering requirement too high and gather speed is reduced. They need to make adjustments to it

@matthaberek the chances or making gold and purple are higher than armor.
